Orlando may be best known for its theme parks, but Central Florida is also home to some of the state's most diverse boating opportunities. From the interconnected lakes of the Orlando area to the St. Johns River and nearby springs, I have spent more than three decades exploring and operating vessels throughout the region.

After moving to Orlando in 1990, I was immediately drawn to the area's extensive network of lakes and waterways. Throughout the 1990s and beyond, I operated ski boats and wakeboard boats on many of Central Florida's most popular lakes, including Lake Waunatta, Lake Howell, Lake Mills, Lake Fairview, Lake Virginia, Lake Conway, and the Butler Chain of Lakes. These experiences provided firsthand knowledge of the local boating environment and the unique conditions found throughout the Orlando area.

My experience on the water extends beyond the lakes. I spent many years operating personal watercraft throughout Lake Jessup, Lake Monroe, and the St. Johns River system, frequently traveling north to Lake George and the area's natural springs. I have also explored many of Central Florida's waterways by canoe and kayak, including Rock Springs Run and the Econlockhatchee River.

As both a lifelong boater and professional marine surveyor, I understand the wide variety of vessels found throughout the Orlando area, from freshwater ski and wake boats to pontoons, center consoles, cruisers, and personal watercraft. My familiarity with local waterways allows me to better understand how vessels are used, maintained, and affected by the unique conditions of Central Florida's freshwater environment.

In addition to my marine experience, I attended the University of Central Florida, where I earned both undergraduate and graduate degrees in Civil Engineering. My engineering background, combined with decades of boating experience and professional marine surveying credentials, provides clients with a thorough and detail-oriented vessel evaluation.
